March 2024 – Kinshasa, DRC – Exhibition at the French Institute of Kinshasa

After its launch into space on 13 December 2022 aboard the Ariane 5 rocket, ASAP is coming back down to earth and settling in Kinshasa in the DRC, where two artists from the N.E.T. collective, Géraldine Tobé and Michel Ekéba, are working and living.

Following this important stopover on the Kinshasa side of the Congo river, ‘Memory of today, Memory of the future’ will continue its African journey in Cameroon, at the home country of the third artist in the collective, Jean-David Nkot.

Finally, the work will land in a major African institution, soon to be unveiled, to continue carrying its message of hope and shared future to the heart of the continent.

But before that, we hope that many of you will come and discover or rediscover this work in Kinshasa, in a city and a country at the center of the climate challenges of the future.

From Thursday 07 March to Saturday 30 March 2024 (except Mondays and Sundays) at the Institut français de Kinshasa – 33 avenue de la Gombe.

Free admission.
