On April 8, 2022, as part of the 1-54 African contemporary art fair in Paris, the official unveiling of the work Memory of today, Memory of the future, created by the collective N.E.T (Jean David Nkot, Michel Ekeba and Geraldine Tobé) took place at the Pavillon Elysée. This work will adorn the nose cone of the Ariane 5 launcher that will carry into space, before the end of 2022, the new generation weather observation satellite that will be positioned over Africa. This unveiling was preceded by a roundtable discussion led by Touria El Glaoui (founder of the fair 1-54) in the presence of artists and partners, on the theme “Space,a new frontier for the African creation?”
