Tuyisenge Chislon born in Rwanda in 1997 is a self-taught artist, a traditional dancer and a photographer. He graduated in Electronics and Telecommunication from APAPER Complex School. He draws his inspiration from nature, African traditional art and art from all around the globe.
At an early age he began sculpting small animals by using mud and wires and sketching using different pencils. He later on made a carrier out of drawing and joined galleries in Rwanda. Chislon is determined to create artworks which bring a positive impact to his society. Collaborating with local and international artists on different types of projects have shaped his ability to take on any sort of project. He is currently working on new projects which aim to save animals in his home country and around Africa.
Chislon works as a visual artist at the IvukaArtscenter in Rwanda, where he helps and teaches children in his village how to use Arts and Rwandan traditional dancing to express and to show their feelings and ideas in peaceful ways in the hope to positively impact their lives. He exhibits his paintings in different galleries in Rwanda Gallery such as the IvukaArtscenter, YayaArtgallery and RedrocksArt Conservation.
Tuyisenge Chislon, né au Rwanda en 1997, est un artiste autodidacte, un danseur traditionnelle et un photographe. Il est diplômé en électronique et en télécommunications de l’école APAPER. Il puise son inspiration dans la nature, l’art traditionnel africain et dans l’art tout autour du globe.
Dès son plus jeune âge, il commence à sculpter de petits animaux en utilisant de la boue et du fil de fer et à faire des croquis avec différents crayons. Plus tard, il fait carrière dans le dessin et rejoint des galeries au Rwanda. Chislon est déterminé à créer des œuvres d’art qui apportent un impact positif à sa société. La collaboration avec des artistes locaux et internationaux sur différents types de projets a façonné sa capacité à entreprendre n’importe quel type de projet. Il travaille actuellement sur de nouveaux projets qui visent à sauver des animaux dans son pays et en Afrique.
Chislon travaille comme artiste visuel à l’IvukaArtscenter au Rwanda, où il aide et enseigne aux enfants de son village comment utiliser les arts et la danse traditionnelle rwandaise pour exprimer et montrer leurs sentiments et leurs idées de manière pacifique dans l’espoir d’avoir un impact positif sur leur vie. Il expose ses peintures dans différentes galeries de la Galerie du Rwanda telles que l’IvukaArtscenter, la YayaArtgallery et RedrocksArt Conservation.
