Maxwell Boadi is a Ghanaian painter who holds a Diploma in Fine Arts from the Ghanatta College of Arts and Design.
He uses knives as his main tool to explain and to define his interpretation of art, to him art is everything and everything is art as long as it exists.
In his paintings, Boadi attempts to attract the world and everything that defines it and wants to make room for the public to make its own interpretation of his works.
His work has been exhibited in Ghana and internationally in group and solo exhibitions, notably at the Alliance Française in 2006, the Ghana Museum in 2009, the World Bank in 2011, the Affordable Art Fair Dubai in 2015, the Sheremetev Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia in 2016.
Maxwell Boadi est un peintre ghanéen qui est titulaire d’un diplôme en beaux-arts du Ghanatta College of Arts and Design.
Il utilise des couteaux comme outil principal pour expliquer et définir son interprétation de l’art. Pour lui, l’art est tout et tout est art tant qu’il existe.
Dans ses peintures, Boadi tente d’attirer le monde et tout ce qui le définit et veut laisser de la place au public pour qu’il puisse se faire sa propre interprétation de ses œuvres.
Son travail a été exposé au Ghana et à l’étranger dans le cadre d’expositions collectives et individuelles, notamment à l’Alliance française en 2006, au Musée du Ghana en 2009, à la Banque mondiale en 2011, à la Affordable Art Fair de Dubaï en 2015, au Palais Sheremetev de Saint-Pétersbourg en Russie en 2016.
